ICT Technician - St Osmund's Middle School
Contracted Hours:Term Time - 37 hrs/week
Starting Salary:Grade 6 - £17,301.86 pa (£19,698 pro rata)

St Osmund's Middle School are seeking to appoint a full time ICT technician with a can-do attitude and sense of humour to lead the support for our various ICT resources across the School. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with our support team from Thomas Hardye School.

The role is varied, busy and central to the life of school. It may include network cabling, revising our infrastructure, assisting colleagues with knowledge of the Microsoft office suite of resources as well as familiarity with SIMS programs. The role will include processing general ICT queries from staff and pupils as well as making sure resources are maintained and available to the teachers, ready for lessons. ICT Technician - The Thomas Hardye School
Contracted Hours:Full Time - 37 hrs/week
Starting Salary:Grade 4.1 - £18,562 pa

The Thomas Hardye School are seeking to appoint a full time ICT technician to join the Systems Support team in providing support for various ICT resources across the school and many other schools in the Dorchester area. The successful candidate will be a committed team player with a good sense of humour.

The role is varied, busy and central to the life of all the schools involved. It may include work such as:

  • installing, maintaining and supporting classroom equipment (computers, display panels, printers etc.)
  • installing and maintaining network infrastructure (servers, switches and cabling etc.)
  • installing, maintaining and supporting users with various software applications hosted on premises or in the cloud
  • assisting staff and students with use of the Microsoft Office suite of resources as well as familiarity with SIMS programs.

The role will include processing general ICT queries from staff and pupils as well as making sure resources are maintained and available to the teachers, ready for lessons. Ability to prioritise and work under pressure is a must.
